Jean Ferguson, M.S., is a Licensed Psychologist with Life
Management since 1990. Working with child, adolescent and adult
clients in individual and family therapy, Jean brings a holistic
perspective to promote wellness and growth. She has extensive
experience working with anxiety, depression, loss and bereavement, women's issues, drug and
alcohol abuse, marital and relationship conflicts, parenting and
family issues, as well as child problems including anxiety,
depression, attention deficit and abuse. She also specializes in
pain management and is gay/lesbian affirmative.
In 2002, Jean completed the Two Part Eye Movement Desensitization
Reprocessing (EMDR) basic training, a technique which facilitates
rapid reprocessing with a cognitive behavioral orientation. Jean
has completed specialized EMDR trainings to enhance her work with
trauma.
Coming from a background in attachment, child development and family
systems, Jean also has recently begun using Richard Schwartz's
Internal Family Systems (IFS) model to build greater self-awareness
and internal and external trust, connection and spirituality.
