How do I schedule an appointment?

• A trained Intake Specialist (not an answering machine) will answer your call during normal business hours.  After business hours and on weekends, calls are answered by answering service (with on-call clinician for emergencies).

• The Intake Specialist will ask basic information to schedule you with the most appropriate counselor, based on urgency, your presenting problem, and geographic location.

• Non-urgent appointments are offered within three workdays.

• Emergencies - appointments are offered same day (within 24 hours).

• On-Call - a Master's or Doctorate level counselor is always on-call for emergencies.  Be sure to tell the operator if you have an emergency.

• Cancellation policy - if you are unable to make the appointment, Life Management requests a 24-hour courtesy cancellation.  If you do not show for your appointment or cancel with less than 24 hour notice, you will be charged for that appointment.
